Are you Homeless?
You may be classed as homeless, or being threatened with homelessness if you:
- have nowhere in the United Kingdom, or elsewhere, that you are entitled to live
- have nowhere that you and your family can live together
- currently have somewhere to live, but are unable to stay there because of threats of violence (including racial and other harassment)
- have somewhere to live but, it is not reasonable for you to stay there because the accommodation does not meet a tolerable standard and is a threat to your health
- live in a mobile home, caravan or boat, but have nowhere to put or moor it
- are likely to become homeless (as defined above) within two months

Service Update
FHR Assessments Update
Applications are being assessed within 20-days and the FHR Team are working on applications dated from 30th May currently.
FHR Review Letters
There has been an issue in sending out some of our annual review letters. We apologise for any issues caused by this and are happy to reinstate any applications impacted by this. If you receive one of the delayed review letters please contact us at FHR.StayOnHousingList@fife.gov.uk as soon as possible

The FHR Team are unable to reply to individual emails received due to additional pressures caused by the Housing Emergency. This email address should continue to be used to provide additional information regarding your application, an automatic reply will confirm we have received your information.
