REPORT ON CONSULTATION SURVEY RESULTS - DECEMBER 2018
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Fife Housing Register partners commissioned an online survey using surveymonkey to consult tenants, housing applicants and other service users to ask for their opinion about proposed changes to our ‘common assessment of need’ in relation to overcrowding, under-occupation and suspensions.
A total of 1,078 responses were received, with 87% (938) of the respondents identifying as having a live application on the Fife Housing Register. Overall this represents an 8.8% response rate from Fife Housing Register applicants who have a live housing application eligible for offers.
A total of 637 responses were received from applicants or other service users who are not currently housed by one of the Fife Housing Register partners.
43% (269) are tenants or joint tenants of a private landlord;
20% (125) are staying with friends or family;
14% (88) are homeowners and;
6.68% (42) are homeless.

Service Update
14th July 2025 - FHR Team Emails
From the 14th July the FHR Team will no longer be able to reply to individual emails due to additional pressures caused by the Housing Emergency.
